Description This kit includes our premium Clark’s Dubbing Block, 3 spools of silk thread, 721 wax in a boxed set. The Clark’s Dubbing block first appeared in Pete Hidy and James Leisenring’s Tying and Fishing the Flymph ( about 1940 ). Our dubbing block is custom made for us by Temperance and Penn in Minnesota using repurposed wood that is recovered from trees harvested in Minnesota parks. This block is made from Walnut and Maple with a brass post. The bottom has foam for a non slip surface. With the foam bottom, this can be used on your knee ( like Hidy did ) or on a table top. The silk is 54 Dean Street imported from Europe. Included is our handmade 721 wax made with original formulas from the UK. This is a premium set and makes a nice, unique gift that is available only from us ( Badger Creek Fly Tying ) and can be used for a lifetime. Kit Includes: Premium Dubbing Block made from Walnut and Maple 3 spools silk thread 721 Dubbing Wax Cards for storing pre-made dubbing ropes
