This is ideal for constructing your own nymphing strike indicators – the mono alternates between blood red and fluoro’ yellow, ideal for fishing both coloured and clear water. To make the coiled indicators, wrap the mono around a biro tube or cotton bud stick, plunge into boiling water then freeze overnight to “fix” the coils.
