Description Badger Creek African Compara Hair ( Dik-Dik ) is fine hair with short tips. Ideal for small compara duns. For many years, I sold large select compara dun and X caddis jumbo patches and I got frustrated by the consistent lack of large fine hair patches and imported this myself. This is very unusual and hard to locate. To be honest, these should sell for 3-4x times the price given that I am one of the only dealers supplying this right now. The hair is light to medium. It is quite fine and has little to any flair. I offer a patch, 1/4 pelt, 1/2 pelt and full pelt. These are fairly small hides. Hides are dried not soft tanned, leather is fairly thin. These are about like a giant bunny pelt and deer are used for making gloves. Full hides vary in size. About 12-14″ wide x 18-24”Long . Half pelts will be cut across ( sections will include full mask or rump ) and quarter hide is 1/4 of the pelt. Do yourself a favor and buy the full pelt. If these run out, no idea if I can get them again.
