This beautiful silver viking brooch is a reproduction of an 11th century original from Lindholm Hoeje, Denmark. The brooch has characteristics of the Urnes style. Brooches like the Lindholm Hoeje brooch were used to close the necklines of garments or were worn decoratively between two turtle brooches. The Lindholm Hoeje brooch – Urness style measures 3.5 x 3 cm and is available in bronze, as well as a silver-plated variant.
