This turbo blanket set includes blankets to cover both the left and right turbochargers on the 1997 – 2004 Porsche Carrera 911 (996). Both blankets are designed to perfectly fit each turbo housing and are marked appropriately. The installation of these blankets is very easy and straight forward. Each blanket maneuvers around brackets and between the factory oil drain system, they fit the contour of the turbocharger perfectly. The contour design of the blanket helps to reduce bulkiness of the blanket while effectively holding as much heat into the turbo to help is spool noticeable quicker and reduce overall under hood heat. Each blanket is built with our heavy duty pulverized lava rock outer jacketing material along with our high 6 pound density ceramic wool material (capable of withstanding 2500°F direct heat) on the inside of the blanket. This blanket set has been test fit and designed to fit both the K16 and K24 turbochargers.
