Mezcal is a smoky, alcoholic beverage and a national spirit of Mexico which means oven cooked agave. It represents Mexico’s heritage and its people. Most Mezcal is made in the city of Oaxaca. Hand-crafted by the tropical riverbed in the village of San Luis Del Rio where the Red Ant River flows. Espadín is the type of agave used and it takes 8-12 years to mature. This mezcal is naturally fermented and twice distilled in wood-fired copper stills.
